PREVIEW: Ticketing beyond the transaction

Green 4 Solutions are the latest partner to join next week’s inaugural Ticketing Technology Forum 2013 in London.

Historically ticketing systems have focused only on the speed, stability and scalability of the transaction. But isn’t a ticket just one of a wide range of products which any sports and entertainment business sells?

What happens when the technology focuses first on the customer and their shopping basket instead of just the ticket? And what should we do with the data once it has been collected through the transaction?

Looking into some of the answers to these questions, Peter Oliver, Director of UK-based Green 4 Solutions, will be showcasing his organisation’s more integrated, customer-centric approach to ticketing.

“We’re delighted to be involved in Ticketing Technology Forum and to have the chance to showcase our product,” explains Oliver. “Green 4 are well known for delivering top class CRM and eCommunications, but we have now taken things to the next level with a full end-to-end solution for sports stadia and leisure venues, which includes the Green 4 ticketing system.”

He adds: “We believe we are unique in our customer focused approach of building ticketing on a CRM platform and allowing ‘joined up’ ticketing, merchandise and F&B sales.”
