Anne Griffin, General Manager of the World Meeting of Families (WMOF) and her team have received some great news this week: the WMOF2018 in-house event team, along with registration and accommodation partner Abbey Conference & Events in a joint submission have been shortlisted for the Best Meet in Ireland Business Tourism Innovation at the 2019 Irish Tourism Industry Awards.
WMOF2018 is one of the three largest Catholic Church World Faith Festivals and is the second to be hosted in Ireland in the last six years, attracting over 499,000 people over the 5 day duration of the family orientated meeting.
In addition to this, over 44,000 estimated bed nights were booked by WMOF2018 and delegates directly, estimating a €3 million spend on accommodation.
Anne is speaking at TheTicketingBusiness Forum 2019 and will be lifting the lid on marketing and ticketing the World Meeting of Families 2018.
