Driving Sales – The Move to Mobile
We’ve all set for our best speaker line-up for our 6th birthday edition of TheTicketingBusiness Forum. And we will deliver.
Mobile ticketing to tackle touts and improving the fan experience
Ditching Tout-Friendly Paper and Moving it all to the Mobile – with Refunds! Islington Assembly Hall – an 800 capacity music and live entertainment venue in London – is the first UK venue to only sell tickets digitally thanks to a partnership with a music discovery and ticketing app.
Tickets purchased via the app cannot be resold, but a refund service is available for those who can’t make it to a show.
We’re thrilled to welcome Lucinda Brown, Venue Business Manager, Islington Assembly Hall, UK to the 2018 speaker line up to share the experience.
Lucinda has worked in live music for the past 20 years. Starting as Venue Manager at Newcastle University Students Union then moving on to Birmingham Academy, Islington Academy and more recently The Forum, Kentish Town. In between venue management roles, Lucinda was Group Marketing Manager for both the Academy Music Group and MAMA & Company.
Her most recent position at MAMA was as Business Development Manager where she was responsible for managing the venue marketing team, venue promoters, supporting the Operations Director overseeing nine venues as well as managing partnered events.
