With just two weeks to go until TheTicketingBusiness Forum, we are highlighting some of the VIP guests that will be joining us in Manchester. We spoke to Feyenoord’s chief information officer Edwin Suk.
Suk has been with Dutch Eredivisie club Feyenoord and Feyenoord Stadion in Rotterdam for over eight years and seven years, respectively. Before this role, Suk was the general manager of Ormer ICT, an IT services and IT consulting company.
Suk will also be one of the speakers at TheTicketingBusiness Forum.
TheTicketingBusiness: What’s exciting in ticketing and technology?
Edwin Suk: “The change of ticketing from a one dimensional process (selling and issuing tickets) to an innovative profit center with business development and innovation in all kind of ways.”
TTB: What’s on the roadmap for the next 6-12 months?
ES: “Experimenting with access control: to develop and implement a new way of thinking about identity, (biometric) authentication and (access) rights; experimenting with NFTs (non-fungible tokens).”
TTB: What are you looking forward to most about the Forum?
ES: “I’m looking forward most to meeting peers and vendors and get inspired by the latest development in ticketing.”
