AXS Europe was named the Ticketing Business of the Year while Francis Casado, Co-Founder of 3D Digital Venue, scooped the Outstanding Achievement Award at the TheTicketingBusiness Awards 2025.

The ceremony took place during TheTicketingBusiness Forum 2025 at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester in front of an audience of senior industry figures.

Jens Teichert, CTO & Co-Founder, vivenu won the Executive of the Year Award, while Paris 2024 Olympic & Paralympic Games (Two Circles/WeTix/CTS Eventim) was named Campaign of the Year.

Other award-winners on the night included Seamless Digital from Sunderland AFC/SKIDATA (Impact); Upfan (Disruptor); Platinum Accessibility from The O2/Attitude is Everything (Guest Experience); Launch of Ten Box Office from Ten Lifestyle (Product Innovation); Genome AI from Ticketek (Insights & Analytics); Eden Park’s Pauline Williams (Unsung Hero); and Sadler’s Wells’ James Broderick (Movers & Shakers).

“This great recognition is thanks to my team, and we’ve been on quite a journey since we started life as a Spanish start-up in 2012,” Casado said.

“I’d also like to thank all of you, because we’ve been learning from you all over the years and we have been growing because of our partners. Thank you for trusting us.”

A special posthumous tribute was also paid to ticketing pioneer Will Quekett, who passed away recently after a short illness. Lancashire Cricket chief executive Daniel Gidney and Jonathan Brown, chief executive of The Society of Ticket Agents and Retailers (STAR), spoke of a man who made a “significant impact” on the industry over four decades who will be “missed enormously”.

Founded in 2016, TheTicketingBusiness Awards are the only awards to recognise a whole spectrum of achievements from across the global entertainment ticketing industry. This year’s award winners were decided by a stellar judging panel (see below)

“Congratulations to everyone who reached the podium,” commented Ian Nuttall, Co-Founder of TheTicketingBusiness. “Winners included our industry’s leaders and stand-out innovators, who should all be very proud of their achievements.”
