#TBF25 Q&A: The power of partnerships and personalisation

3D Digital Venue has found an innovative way of giving fans peace of mind when it comes to ticket buying through its seating maps.

As a result, the business works with stadiums and theatres around the world including the likes of Camp Nou, Fenway Park, and Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

Prior to TheTicketingBusiness Forum 2025which begins in Manchester on April 28, we spoke to co-founder and chief revenue officer, Francis Casado, to find out what’s next for the pioneering company.

What is the most exciting development for you this year in the industry?

Francis Casado: “After attending recent industry events, one development that truly stood out to me was the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in ticketing.

“What I find most exciting is how AI can act almost like a personal ‘event selection guru’, learning fans’ interests, favourite artists, and even seating preferences to curate events that genuinely resonate with them.

“This shift from tedious searches to personalised recommendations has the power to make event discovery feel effortless.

“For me, the most exciting part is how all of this can integrate seamlessly with 3D Digital Venue’s technology. Combining AI-driven insights with our immersive 3D maps and assets could elevate the fan journey to a whole new level, making it more intuitive, engaging, and personalised.”

What are you looking forward to showcasing this year at TheTicketingBusiness Forum?

FC: “This year we’re excited to showcase the power of strategic partnerships and API-driven solutions through real-world success stories.

“Specifically, we’ll highlight how our technology is improving ticket sales and fan engagement for partners like Vivenu and Tickex.

“We want to show the tangible impact of seamless integrations and immersive technology on both the fan experience and revenue growth.”

What are you hoping to gain from the event?

FC: “We’re looking to deepen relationships with both existing and potential partners who share a vision for an open, collaborative approach to ticketing.

“It’s also an opportunity to gather insights directly from industry leaders about the evolving challenges they face.

“As always, this forum is the perfect setting to exchange ideas and explore new solutions.”

What are your expectations for 2025?

FC: “In 2025, our focus will be on expanding our strategic partnerships, refining our solutions, and staying ahead of industry trends.

“We want to keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in ticketing, whether that’s through AI, more immersive experiences, or new integrations.

“At the end of the day, it’s all about bringing real innovation to the industry and continuously finding new ways to enhance the fan experience.”
