The Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens is one of the world’s iconic sports events and a bucket list experience for many international fans. The 2026 edition will be extra special as it marks the tournament’s 50th Anniversary next April at its new home in Hong Kong’s stunning Kai Tak Stadium.
Fresh from this milestone celebration, Jon Pallett, Head of Communications at Hong Kong China Rugby, will join us at #TBF26 to take us inside the rugby, the entertainment, the partner activity and a full week of Sevens celebrations in Hong Kong.

About our #TBF26 Speaker
Jon Pallett is currently the Head of Communications for Hong Kong China Rugby, having moved to Asia in late 2023 and joined the union ahead of the 2024 Hong Kong Sevens.
His career experience spans professional sports teams and major events across global markets, including roles at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, Toronto Wolfpack Rugby League, Dragons Rugby, Glamorgan Cricket, the Sydney Sixers and the London 2012 Olympic Games. His work covers marketing, communications, digital, social and fan engagement.
