It’s exciting times for England Netball. The team won gold at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in 2018 and capped off the year winning BBC Sports Personality Team of the Year and Greatest Sporting Moment of the Year. The buzz around the sport continues into 2019 with England hosting the World Cup this July in Liverpool.
David Hornby, Managing Director UK & Ireland of SecuTix, and Joanne Sinclair, Commercial Director of England Netball, will be discussing how the global SaaS ticketing and audience management provider is working with England Netball to realise the governing body’s ambitions to grow their fan base and increase revenues.
David said: “In the first six months of working together, we’ve achieved a lot. England Netball has a bold vision and wants to grow through innovation, collaboration and non-traditional ways. We’re helping them take back control of their relationship with members and fans and reach out to potential new fans of the sport.”
Joanne will be sharing insights into England Netball’s development plans and how they are capitalising on the current interest in the sport. She said: “Getting ticketing and engagement right was crucial to our understanding and targeting of members and fans. We now have complete control of the platform with the tools to attract, engage, reward and commercialise fans. 2019 is a huge opportunity for us.”
