2018 Announcement: The Forum is heading to Manchester!
Our bags are not even unpacked yet, but we are thrilled to confirm that Emirates Old Trafford, home of Lancashire County Cricket Club, has been appointed as the destination and host for TheTicketingBusiness Forum 2018 – Europe’s leading live entertainment ticketing meeting.
Delegates at the Forum this week in Dublin were privvy to the 2018 announcement before anyone else, with an opportunity to sign up on site at an exclusive return rate.
TheTicketingBusiness Awards – recognising leadership, innovation and achievement in the application of technology in ticketing across sports, performing arts, music, cinema, live entertainment and visitor attractions – will also take place in Manchester with venue TBA.
Daniel Gidney, Chief Executive at Lancashire County Cricket Club, said: “We’re delighted and proud of Emirates Old Trafford being appointed by Xperiology as the host of the prestigious TheTicketingBusiness Forum 2018, and we’re looking forward to welcoming some of the leading individuals from the ticketing industry in 2018.”
Ian Nuttall, Founder, TheTicketingBusiness, said: “I am thrilled to announce that the TheTicketingBusiness Forum 2018 will be partnering with Emirates Old Trafford, which will host the forum in their stunning flagship venue, The Point in April 2018.”
The venue has undergone a £60 million pound redevelopment in recent years, which culminates in the opening of the on-site 150-bedroom Hilton Garden Inn hotel this summer, including 85 stunning pitch-facing balcony rooms – the perfect location for the 6th edition of the Forum.
We’re busy looking through all your feedback now and putting together another outstanding programme for the ticketing world.
