At this year’s TheTicketingBusiness Forum in Manchester, we didn’t just talk about the future of live entertainment, e-commere and ticketing — we also used the time together to support EMERGENCY and its work in conflict zones.

And thanks to the incredible generosity of the Forum community, we’re proud to say this was our biggest on-site fundraising total to date.

Across the two days at the Forum, delegates tapped to donate an amazing £1,855 – with a further £249 generated during the Awards’ Make A Wish activation (pictured) – our biggest collection at the event yet! As promised TheTicketingBusiness matched every tap donation made – to generate a total of £4,000 for EMERGENCY.

Alex Briggs, Fundraising Manager at EMERGENCY, commented: “From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so very much from everyone at EMERGENCY, it is only thanks to kindness like this that makes it possible for us to help so many people, sustainably for the long-term.

It’s a reminder of what can happen when a community pulls together – even a niche industry B2B one like ours – and how the power of this industry goes far beyond the venue walls.

Thank you to everyone who donated, spread the word, or simply stopped to ask about the work of EMERGENCY – thank you. Your support will go a long way. For more details of how the funds will be used read the full story on our Xperiology channel.
