While the majority of UK venues have been closed over the last few months due to COVID-19, the team at Emirates Old Trafford (home of Lancashire County Cricket Club) has been demonstrating how to successfully host (international) matches behind closed doors. And now they are ready to share the lessons learnt with the world.
The England and West Indies cricket teams have been staying in the ‘venue bubble’ – on site hotel, restaurant, players lounge/chill out area and pitch to protect themselves and others against the virus.
