Given the Coronavirus impacts – and the likelihood of further ’social distancing’ measures across all key markets – we are announcing today that TheTicketingBusiness Forum 2020 has been rescheduled to 29-30 September (at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester).

Our industry is in turmoil. Never before have so many events been cancelled. So many venues closed. Such broad restrictions on travel put in place. And there is little end in sight.

With the fantastic support of our hosts at Lancs Cricket – and the kind understanding of our sponsors, speakers and delegates – we will, in effect, move the entire programme to the new dates.

In addition, we will co-locate our TheStadiumBusiness Summit 2020 – the world’s no.1 business meeting for stadia, arena and entertainment venues – to the new dates, creating the largest ever gathering of venues, events, ticketing and tech.

All existing registrations (incl hotel offers), sponsor bookings, and marketing services will automatically transfer to the new event dates.

With this postponement, we now have collectively six months to let the pandemic run its course, and our sector to re-establish itself.

A very different events landscape awaits us all on the other side but one universal truth prevails: nothing beats the live experience. Getting together as human beings to enjoy, admire and celebrate our heroes is programmed into the evolutionary DNA of all of us. After months of social isolation, the fans will need us more than ever once this has passed.
